Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Art With Balls ("we", "us", "our"), the registered business through which Anil Constantine accepts payment, based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, collects, uses and protects your information when you visit anilconstantine.com and, once live, purchase through The Bazaar or arrange a branding or advisory assignment. Written with reference to India's Information Technology Act, 2000, and global frameworks including the GDPR and CCPA for international visitors.

Information we collect

Server logs. Like virtually every website, this site is hosted through Cloudflare, which automatically logs standard technical information for every visit, including IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed. Used only for security, performance and basic traffic monitoring.

Fonts. This site currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts' servers, which sends your IP address to Google as part of the request.

Identity, contact and payment data. Once Digital Goods or assignments can be purchased through this site, we will collect your name, email and billing address for payment authentication and tax compliance. No shipping address is collected, since all goods are digital. Payment transactions will be processed by a third-party gateway (such as Razorpay, Stripe or PayPal); we never store your card or bank details on our own servers.

Voluntary contact. If you email us directly, any information you send is used only to respond to you.

Bazaar launch notifications. If you sign up on The Bazaar to hear when something new launches, we store only your email address, in our own Cloudflare account rather than a third-party mailing list, used exclusively to send that one-time notification when a new item is ready. No other newsletter or marketing content is sent to this list. Email anil@anilconstantine.com at any time to be removed.

Booking a call. The "Book a call" button links to Calendly, an external scheduling service. Information you provide there is governed by Calendly's own privacy policy, not this one.

Cookies. This site does not currently set any cookies. Once The Bazaar has a working shopping cart, functional cookies will be used to hold cart contents during checkout, and this policy will be updated to reflect that.

How information is used

To fulfil orders and deliver Digital Goods, to provide customer support and respond to enquiries, to comply with tax law such as GST invoicing in India and prevent fraudulent transactions, and, only if you explicitly opt in to a mailing list (none currently exists on this site), for marketing updates with an unsubscribe link in every message. Information is never sold.

Cross-border data transfers

As a business based in India serving an international audience, your data may be transferred to, stored and processed on servers located outside your home country, including standard cloud hosting infrastructure. By using this site, you consent to this transfer. Infrastructure providers are expected to maintain industry-standard security measures.

Third parties

Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), Google (font delivery) and Calendly (call scheduling) today; a payment processor and email delivery system once The Bazaar is transactional. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.

Your rights

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure and objection to processing. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these, email anil@anilconstantine.com.

Data retention

Server logs are retained only as long as Cloudflare's default retention period. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed to respond to you or, once applicable, to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

The Bazaar and branding assignments

Digital Goods and branding assignments are not yet available for purchase through this site. Once live, this policy will already govern that payment and order data as described above.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the latest version.
